The Camarillo Police Station will be hosting a Senior Citizen Driver Education Class. The class is a collaborative effort between the Camarillo Police Station, Camarillo Health Care District, Department of Motor Vehicles and our community’s senior drivers.
The class is designed to help senior drivers understand how age could affect a person’s ability to operate a motor vehicle. It will cover topics related to the safe operation of a motor vehicle and will provide information on alternative transportation and community resources available to our senior citizens as well for their caregivers and family members.
Senior drivers, their caregivers and their family members are all welcomed and are highly encouraged to attend this presentation. If you are interested in attending, please contact the Camarillo Police Department’s Community Resource Unit at (805) 388-5155. Space is limited to 40 participants. This is a voluntary program and there is no cost to attend.
