How do I get appointed?
Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk's Office or downloaded here - Application for Appointment.
You may submit your application at any time during the year; however, recruitments for upcoming vacancies begin after the new year, typically February/March. Unscheduled vacancies are filled as they occur. Notices to fill vacancies will be posted here. There are no vacancies at this time.
Applications are reviewed by the Council’s Citizen Appointment Committee and their recommendations for appointment are forwarded to the City Council for final approval. Committee Information provides general information about each of the committees, boards, and commissions including meeting dates and times, and application requirements.
The Local Appointments List shows current appointees and their term of appointment.
