Camarillo Ranch Docent Training -
Join the Docent Team at the historic Camarillo Ranch House. Orientation will begin upon application with introductions to our friendly staff and a tour of the Ranch House where docent responsibilities will be outlined. Formal training at the Ranch (10/9 from 9 to 2) will include information on architecture, house gardens, the White Horses, Victorian costumes and School Tours. There is a $15 notebook fee. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 - Join us at the Camarillo Ranch House, 201 Camarillo Ranch Rd., from 12-4, to celebrate Adolfo Camarillo’s birthday. Enjoy the Camarillo H.S. Band and the beautiful Camarillo White Horses. Visit our Sweet Shoppe and Country Store. Pony rides, puppet shows and lots more fun activities will be available. Admission is free. Friday, December 3: 10TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY CANDLELIGHT GALA -
The Camarillo Ranch Foundation is proud to present the 10th Candlelight Gala at the historic Camarillo Ranch House. The event will take place Friday from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. Each year the Ranch House is specially decorated for the holiday season. Partake of good food, enjoy the special exhibits and tour the stately Queen Anne mansion that Adolfo and Isabella Camarillo called home. The Red Barn will also be open for touring. This special event is the major fundraiser for the Camarillo Ranch Foundation. Funds raised help preserve and operate the Camarillo Ranch House and grounds. December 8, 15 & 22: HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE WITH MR. & MRS. SANTA CLAUS - The Camarillo Ranch will once again have the honor of hosting a Holiday Open House. Our very special guests will be Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. From 6 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday night, Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be happy to pose for a photo with children of all ages. The Queen Anne home will be beautifully decorated to reflect a bright holiday spirit. Musical entertainment plus cookies and punch will help to make the night bright and enjoyable for the whole family! A donation of $5 is requested for adults; children are free.
