GOVERNMENT
The City of Camarillo is administered under the Council-Manager form of government. The City Council, which is elected by the citizens of Camarillo, adopts policies for the operation of the City government, and appoints the City Manager to administer those policies.
The City Council is comprised of five members, who are elected at-large to serve four year terms. Being elected at-large means that each Councilmember does not represent a specific district of Camarillo, but represents the City in its entirety.
To contact a member of the Council, please contact the City Manager’s office at 388-5307 or via email at council@ci.camarillo.ca.us. Individual phone numbers for each Councilmember are listed on the last page of each issue of CityScene. There are also bios of each Councilmember on the City website.
You can also reach City Manager Jerry Bankston and Assistant City Manager Bruce Feng at the same number or at citymanager@ci.camarillo.ca.us.
City Hall is located at 601 Carmen Drive, just south of the intersection of Ponderosa Drive, and is open Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, except on
holidays.
