BUSINESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

Whether you are considering starting a new business in Camarillo, or looking for help with your existing business, City staff can help you get the assistance you need. If you need information about a business loan, zoning, marketing strategies, putting together a business plan, financial planning, or other issues, we're here to help. We can point you to numerous organizations and programs, including the City Redevelopment Agency, the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County (EDC-VC), Women's Economic Ventures (WEV), the Small Business Association (SBA), and the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED), the Cal Coastal Development Corporation, and more. We can also assist with expansion or zoning issues through the City Community Development Department, Foreign Trade Zone matters, and more. For instance, through its Business Enhancement Program, the EDC-VC offers free, confidential help for businesses with less than 200 employees.
