Pleasant Valley Historical Society Museum
This museum tells the history of Camarillo from pre-historic times to the twentieth century. Special exhibits include artifacts from early Indians, the first settlers, early schools, churches and railroads. Museum hours are Saturday from noon to 4 PM and Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. There is no admission fee, although a donation is requested.

The Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology is both a natural history collection specializing in eggs and nests of birds from around the world, and a research and education institution dedicated to bird conservation. The Foundation’s fundamental mission is to obtain, protect, and manage ornithological collections in a manner that ensures their continued survival and accessibility to the international research community, educators, and students.
