Accordingly, the City does not collect any information about you when you visit this web site including, without limitation, your identity or use habits. Moreover, the City does not use web browser cookies of any type or for any purpose. The City will only collect information that you choose to voluntarily provide. Such personal information is not used for any commercial marketing purpose; it is used only to respond to requests for information and services, or to complete online transactions. 

The City of Camarillo uses reasonable precautions and efforts to keep personal information disclosed to the city protected and secure. In order to provide electronic commerce capabilities, however, the name, address and payment information (if applicable) that you voluntarily provide may be collected and processed to complete an online transaction and for record-keeping for activities such as billing, permits, licenses, and other business-related purposes. 

You should be aware that the City is a public entity and may be required to disclose certain information in response to a request for documents under the California Public Records Act or other applicable law. In addition, by providing the City of Camarillo with e-mail addresses or other information, users are giving the City of Camarillo permission to periodically send out e-mail newsletters or other information offered by the city. Users notifying the City of Camarillo that they no longer wish to receive e-mail information from the City will be removed from the e-mail database.
